You and Your Teeth?
If you’ve been around my blog for a while, then you already know I’ve written about teeth before. You can check out my previous post on oral care and how to keep your teeth sparkling here:

Sooooo when I first heard about Oh My Teeth, I was super curious about their services. 🤔
Orthodontics in Japan
Since I have a few clients who work in the dental industry, I actually talk about teeth more than most people would expect LOL. Lately, I’ve learned that digital dentistry and clear aligner technology are booming industries in Japan. Companies that focus on affordable orthodontics, teeth straightening solutions, and invisible aligners are trending—especially in big cities like Tokyo and Osaka.
Did you know that around 21% of Japanese people undergo some form of orthodontic treatment? That’s a pretty big number, which explains why clear aligner companies are popping up left and right.
With that in mind, there are a few specific reasons why I highly recommend looking into Oh My Teeth.
Just smile 🙂
Whether you’re missing a tooth, dealing with overcrowding, or just don’t feel confident about your smile, please remember this:
Your smile is beautiful, and people want to see it.
Even though my teeth are straight now, I used to feel so insecure about my smile growing up after I started losing my baby teeth. (Fun fact: I lost my last baby tooth at 14 lol). I would cover my mouth when I laughed, barely smiled in photos, or tried not to show my teeth at all. And honestly, it still affects how I smile today.
So if I can help just one person avoid that kind of discomfort or self-consciousness by recommending a quality orthodontic service in Japan—then I’m happy to.
Disclaimer: I haven’t personally used Oh My Teeth’s aligners yet. But I did get the chance to visit one of their Tokyo stores, speak with the team, and learn more about their clear aligner products and pricing, which is why I’m writing this blog today!
Oh My Teeth! An Orthodontics Company To Smile With
Let’s talk about what this company does.
Oh My Teeth is a dental and orthodontic brand in Japan that specializes in:
*Clear aligners
*Retainers
*Custom mouthpieces
They focus on creating a personalized teeth-straightening plan that’s affordable, accessible, and efficient—especially for people who don’t want the hassle of traditional metal braces.
Let’s Talk Pricing!
If you’re from the U.S. like me, you already know that dental work is expensive. Like… ridiculously expensive.
But here’s the breakdown when comparing average clear aligner costs:
Average Cost of Teeth Aligners by Country (USD)
Japan: $2,300–$7,000
USA: $3,000–$9,000
That’s where Oh My Teeth stands out. They offer transparent pricing and even have installment plans, which is so helpful if you’re on a budget but still want to invest in your smile.
For example:
¥330,000 (~$2,240 USD) total
¥3,500/month over 120 installments
Honestly? When you consider the quality, speed of results, and support, the cost seems really fair.
The Good Points of Oh My Teeth
Let’s break down why I personally felt this company was worth sharing:
- Quick Results
One of the first things that caught my attention was how fast results start to show. Most people begin noticing a visible change in just 2 months, and many finish treatment in under 4 months.
That’s honestly so quick compared to traditional braces.
- Price
I like that they do installments for the mouthpiece for 330,000yen (about $2240.79). For ¥3500 and 120 installments, you can have your teeth looking very straight. I know it seems like a lot, but when I compare the price to other companies and think about the quick results, it’s a very small price to pay.
Like I said earlier, the installment option is a huge plus. Being able to gradually pay for your clear aligners in Japan makes orthodontics way more accessible.
- 24-hour consultation via LINE
Yes, really! You can message their dental consultants anytime through LINE. Lost your aligner? Got a weird tooth pain? Just wanna check something? They’re available—day or night.
As a natural-born worrywart, this gave me peace of mind… and I thought it might do the same for some of you.
- Teeth Progress Report
After adding them on LINE, you’ll get access to progress tracking tools and smile simulations. You can literally see your teeth moving and aligning over time using the app.
It’s a small feature, but if you’re someone who checks their smile in every mirror (guilty 🙋♀️), you’ll love it.
Meeting the Staff
One of the biggest reasons I felt confident sharing Oh My Teeth with you is because of the people who work there.
When I visited the Tokyo branch, I had the pleasure of chatting with employees/ staff members. Every single person I spoke with was friendly, patient, and genuinely passionate about what they do.
I’m one of those people who values great customer service just as much as the actual product. And I can say from personal experience: the Oh My Teeth staff made me feel welcome and informed. That goes a long way.
Happy Cheesing!
I hope this post helps you feel more confident in your journey to a straighter smile. Whether you decide to go with Oh My Teeth or not, just remember that your smile already shines—this is just about feeling even better when you use it.
If you’re living in Japan and wondering about orthodontic options, invisible aligners in Tokyo, or even just affordable teeth straightening solutions, I definitely recommend checking this place out.
Until next time, keep smiling, stay hydrated, and take care of yourself in this wild Japanese summer heat. See you in the next post!
